As the City of Clarksville has grown, so has their need for increased public services, such as their Fire Department. In response to this growth, the
Fire Department realized that they needed to be able to accommodate full-time firefighters. None of their existing facilities had the ability to maintain a full-time staff, so it was concluded that a new fire station was needed.
The new facility includes sleeping quarters for full-time firefighters, a kitchen, a day room and training area, administration offices, and support for additional firefighting vehicles.
